Pastor and Youth Minister for 20+ years in three denominations. Extensive ecumenical work with churches, large and small, in rural, urban and suburban environments

Strategic Development for Congregational Systems

Writings:
Writes articles and blogs that connect practical youth ministry with academic scholarship and pop culture. Recently wrote for the Fathom Bible Studies Curriculum, an eighteen-book project (published by Abingdon Press), which offers a deeper dive into key themes and story-lines of the Bible.

Day-to-day manager of projects. Crafting, planning and working out details of conferences and meetings. Offering insight into church health.

Prior Work:
United Methodist pastor who started a youth group in her first pastoral appointment, Chaplain at North Park University, Evangelism professor at Duke Divinity School, Theology and Women’s Studies professor at Seattle Pacific University

Writing:
30+ articles and six books, including Building the Old Time Religion: Women Evangelists in the Progressive Era (New York University Press, 2014)

Favorite Free-Time Activities:
Traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends

Reboot Responsibilities:
Big picture oversight and insight. Producing resources to support Reboot projects and written work that tells these projects’ stories to a broader public.
