In charge of logistical support. Prepares and distributes written materials for grant programs. Manages the books and other financial work. Does social and digital media.

Pastor and Youth Minister for 20+ years in three denominations. Extensive ecumenical work with churches, large and small, in rural, urban and suburban environments.

Writes articles and blogs that connect practical youth ministry with academic scholarship and pop culture. Recently wrote for the Fathom Bible Studies Curriculum, an eighteen-book project (published by Abingdon Press), which offers a deeper dive into key themes and story-lines of the Bible.

Day-to-day manager of projects. Crafting, planning and working out details of conferences and meetings. Offering insight into church health.

Prior Work:
United Methodist pastor who started a youth group in her first pastoral appointment, Chaplain at North Park University, Evangelism professor at Duke Divinity School, Theology and Women’s Studies professor at Seattle Pacific University.
Writing:
30+ articles and six books, including Building the Old Time Religion: Women Evangelists in the Progressive Era (New York University Press, 2014), Models of Evangelism (Baker Academic Press, 2020).
Favorite Free-Time Activities:
Traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Reboot Responsibilities:
Big picture oversight and insight. Producing resources to support Reboot projects and written work that tells these projects’ stories to a broader public.
